Here’s what we’ve got for you today.

  • Daily Idea - Creators. Sports. Chaos.

  • First Take

Creator Sports League. Chaos Guaranteed.

This one’s tough to run through NTE Zero to One, unless you’ve got MrBeast’s number or a cousin in the Sway House. But it’s a fun one to think about and get our wheels rolling.

Otherwise, sign up and lets make other wild ideas.

The One Liner

TikTok meets ESPN. But way more fun (and chaotic).

The 140 character tweet (or X) version

Imagine MrBeast vs. Logan Paul in 1-on-1 hoops.
Now imagine millions watching live, voting on the rules, and paying.

The Longer Story Version

The Problem
Traditional sports are stale.
Influencers are the new athletes.
But nobody's built the league they deserve.

We’re in the golden age of creator-driven attention. They sell out merch in hours, launch record-breaking Kick streams, and crash Shopify with a single Instagram story.

Yet when it comes to sports, they’re guests, not stars.

YouTube boxing showed what’s possible. But it’s always one-off fights, clunky production, no real storyline, and random matchups. What if there was a real league built around creators with rivalries, seasons, and the drama dialed up to 11?

The NBA has Steph vs. LeBron.
This has Airrack vs. Speed in a dunk contest, voted on by fans.

Fans don’t just want to watch. They want to shape the action. They want behind-the-scenes beef. They want to be part of the storyline.

The Solution
Let’s build the ESPN of creators.
A real league. Real sports. Real stakes.

Here’s what it looks like:

  • 8–12 creator-owned teams across sports (basketball, flag football, even spikeball)

  • Storylines, beef, and training arcs documented like a Netflix series

  • Live events streamed across YouTube, Kick, or X

  • Viewers vote in real time: rule changes, challenges, even who starts

  • PPV for tentpole games, free teasers everywhere else

  • Influencers promote because… they’re playing

It’s “The Ultimate Creator League.” But this time, done right.

How We’d Build It

Stage 1: MVP (Scrappy but Viral)

  • Find 4 creators with massive but different audiences (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, etc.)

  • Start with a 3v3 basketball game. Rent a gym. Stream it via Moment.co (simple PPV platform).

  • Use Rally for community voting (live polls during games).

  • Use Streamelements or Restream to push it to multiple platforms.

  • Clip every moment—use Captions.ai or OpusClip to turn streams into viral TikToks overnight.

  • Give fans a reason to care: $10K bounty to the winning team’s fans (via raffles or NFTs—optional).

Stage 2: Season Format (Mini-League Mode)

  • Recruit 6 more creators. Each one "owns" a team.

  • Draft-style player selection streamed live (think: MrBeast’s Hunger Games + The Ringer)

  • Launch a simple website using Framer to host standings, schedules, and hype trailers.

  • Pre-sell “season tickets” via PPV bundles.

  • Bonus: Let fans own a small % of the team using Koji or Syndicate.io.

Stage 3: Full League + GTM Blitz

  • Partner with Shopify or Gymshark to co-sponsor kits + merch drops.

  • Lock in a distribution deal with Kick or YouTube Live (ad rev share).

  • Launch a “Fantasy Creator Sports” side product using Sleeper or Commissioner.io infrastructure.

  • Get picked up by Barstool, Full Send, or X Sports feeds for earned media.

  • Raise a round only after the first season has 1M+ unique viewers and a merch waitlist.

Why It Needs to Exist
Because sports are about characters. And creators are the most compelling characters of our generation.

This is the WWE meets the NBA, but real. The lines between fan and athlete blur.
The league doesn’t just get watched. It gets followed.

No gatekeepers. No middlemen. Just creators, sports, and chaos.
Let the games begin.

First Take: Creator League Edition

Presented by: Energy drinks, mid-tier crypto wallets, and dropshipping regrets.

HOST:
Welcome back to First Take: Creator Chaos Edition, where real athletes cry watching TikTokers play dodgeball for millions.

Today’s topic:
Should we build a real sports league… but with creators?

Let’s go.

HOT TAKE GUY (thinks the league is genius):
I’m just gonna say it, this is the best idea since MrBeast built Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.

Sports are stale. Nobody under 25 is watching full games.
You know what they are watching? IShowSpeed accidentally lighting fireworks in his room.
Logan Paul doing WWE. Kai Cenat hooping in his living room with rappers.
The attention is already there and this just organizes it into a money printer.

Forget the NBA.
This is the NBA of Chaos and I’m all in.

SKEPTIC GUY (burned by NFTs):
Bro. Chill.

You think Bryce Hall can run a pick and roll?
You think Twitch chat wants a league with rules and structure?
They barely make it through a stream without spamming L + ratio.

Influencers are great at chaos, not consistency.
You’ll get one viral dunk and then six weeks of “Sorry guys, mental health break.”

Also… who’s funding this? These guys want creator equity, backend on merch, AND control of their highlight edits.

You’re trying to build the NBA with people who ghost their own group chats.

MODERATOR (lowkey wants to build it):
Okay, okay, valid points.

But here’s the real question:
Would people pay to watch Logan Paul vs. KSI in a dunk contest judged by Charli D’Amelio?

Yes. Yes they would.

Here’s how it works:

  • 8 creator-owned teams

  • Games streamed on YouTube Live or Kick

  • Fans vote on rules, penalties, even who gets to play

  • Merch drops. Creator promos. PPV main events.

It’s like ESPN meets MrBeast meets WWE.
Is it a sport? Kinda.
Is it entertaining? Absolutely.
Does it make money? If done right, a lot.

HOT TAKE GUY:
Facts.
This is not for sports purists.
It’s for the kid who’s never seen a full baseball game but watched the Sidemen charity match three times.

And guess what?
Brands will throw money at this.
Because creators drive culture, and culture drives spend.

SKEPTIC GUY:
Fine. But you better hire a logistics god and a therapist on staff.
Because organizing a creator league is like herding caffeinated toddlers with egos the size of small planets.

MODERATOR:
Beautiful. We’re aligned.
It’s a hot mess.
But it’s a hot mess worth building.

WRAP-UP TAKE:
This is the ESPN of creators. Not athletes trying to be influencers… but influencers becoming the main event.
The lines are blurring.
The audience is ready.
Let the creator chaos begin.

They Beat You to It. Almost.

Every week, someone launches a startup you thought of months ago.
But while your idea’s still in your notes app... they raised $2M and dropped the press release.

Let’s change that.
